Campania

With Naples as its capital, Campania is the most densely populated region of the country. It is one of Italy's richest regions in terms of culture, history and gastronony. Some parts of the region have been in the grip of the Camorra criminal organization for decades. But this situation has not taken away from the splendour of its sites, from Pompeii to the Amalfi coast and the island of Capri.
