Lazio

Lazio has Rome as its capital. It hosts the headquarters of state-controlled companies like oil giant Eni, power utility Enel and defense and aerospace group Finmeccanica. Its GDP is second only to Lombardy's. Cinecittà, the film studio, is the largest in the country where Italy's most famous directors from Visconti to Fellini have worked. Services is by far the largest component of its economy. It is famous for thermal baths, Hadrian Villa, Veio Park, Tarquinia.
